I've been a potter for 18 years.  I don't have an MFA or a BFA, but I've learned from the masters - Pete Pinnell, Lana Wilson, Ellen Shankin to name just a few.  Over the years I've entered and won numerous shows but haven't kept a running list.  These things never seemed all that important to me - it was (and still is) all about the work.  I love making pots and I especially love carving pots.  The more pots I make, the better the pots get.  I feel truly blessed to be able to get up every day and do what I love and I wish the same for you.
